    HONEY BEE BIOLOGY INTERN

  • Sofia Meriot recently graduated from Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, specializing in Cellular and Molecular Biology. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Biotechnology at the University of British Columbia’s Okanagan campus. Through her internship with the BC-TTP, Sofia hopes to deepen her understanding of pollinators and their important role in supporting sustainable crop and plant production. She also hopes to build on her experience in science outreach and develop her skills in communicating the importance of science to broader audiences.
